Container Gardening for Beginners. Planting a Small Vegetable Garden. What’s Up Wednesday! We are planting a small container garden on our deck. We had a lot of luck last year with several varieties of peppers. This year we are planting bell peppers, Big Bertha peppers, banana peppers, Anaheim peppers, and poblano peppers. We are also planting a few herbs including thyme and basil. Join us as we plant our garden!
